How to you blow up the big gun in the last level?

How do you beat the last level with the big big gun that shoots out blue? the target you have to hit is inside of the gun and idk how to shoot it down.

You dont you take out cooling unite 2 in front 4 in the back and 1 in side then the gun will open up to cool down and you fly in the barrel and shoot core
