Question & Answers
Answer from: Zach
I believe that is simply a "point of interest on the map, like many other spots on the map that you are unable to travel to. You can view points of interest for information about that area, but I have played this game through 3 times now and have been unable to "unlock" these "points of interest" on the map. I believe them to be there simply for game filler and to provide a small amount of information based on the LOTR series for those who are interested. I too was curious as to why there were so many points on the map that I seemed to be unable to travel to..."why would they put these locations on the map if you cant travel there?" Good question...I love the game, however it is evident that there are aspects of it that the creators "scimped" on, I believe this to be one of those aspects. My diagnosis is, based on reoccurring game play and research, is that it's simply game filler...If I'm wrong and someone else can provide more educated information, please do, 'cus I too would love to travel to these points and continue further game play.

All you have to do is talk to people in the right way and thay give you a guest to a place on the map i got to helms deep by talking to someone in bree
Answer from: jk12345
Which person did you speak to in bree because i have spoke to everyone after i saw your comment and no one saids anything about helms deep?
Answer from: rastajunior11
Helms deep is part of the southern battle for middle earth, therefore like zach said it is just a point of interest. i have talked to everyperson at least 3 times and there is no way to go to any southern part of middle earth except for the two optional missions.
Answer from: kurk
