How to finish the level without losing all the characters ?

I only had to fight him once with only spyro and trigger happy. they were almost fully leveled up and upgraded but i still won. i was using the xbox 360 though. maybe it's harder on other systems? ok. hope this helps. good luck to anyone stuck on this level.

Hit kaos in his thrown when he comes down as much as u can hit him and he dies faster and the level ends
