You gotta go threw it to a tower door up it then make the fake lexicon a copy of the real one and then u grab the elder scroll and go out the elevator

A tip-make a save as you start every new quest then over ride it when you are finished. Skyrim does glitch out sometimes and not allow you to complete quests
