Barbas dog an assett or real pain in the butt
I've got the "super dog" barbas who, as they say, is a tank because he can't be killed. however it's a doubled edged sword because he is constantly nudging you which doesn't help if you're next to a trap or cliff edge or he's knocking things over or blocking your exit. you can't get him to wait out of the way so be warned whilst he's a real assett he's also a pain in the butt

Barbas is a real pain, but he was not meant to be a follower. He is part of a quest (don't remember the quest name) He will be with you until the quest is completed. At the end you have the option of killing him or letting him stand forever next to his master (a Deadric Statue). If you followed him when you first met him, you should have met his master and recievied instructions. Complete the quest and recieve a nice reward, kill or stand either way.
