If i currently have a horse can i still be awarded shadowmere or do i have to get rid of my current horse first?

I believe u do but the game will automatically to that but shadowmere is the best horse

My Character has shadowmere. You can't use your horse but you can use shadowmere. I'd rather use shadowmere because it's the best horse. (I love the glowing red eyes!)
