Can you re recruit blades after they have died?

I have gotten two of my blades killed thanks to two dragons and krosis. can i recruit more people to fill in for the deceased blades?

No it seems you can't. however if you're on pc you can hit the ~ button, click on the deceased blade with the mouse, and type "recurrect". it's cheating but i think in the circumstances it is warranted :-) sounds like quite a battle you had.
