Reviews The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask Reviews for Nintendo 64
User ReviewsMakora's Mask is the devoted sequel of Ocarina of Time, when Link (child) decides to look for his lost friend Navi in the woods, the skull kid attacks, taking his ocarina and horse. Even worse, he turns Link into a Deku Scrub, plus, you have 72 game hours to find him and return to normal. Easy, right? No!!! Though i haven't completed it yet, i know how to judge several things. You can overall play the same as ocarina, but 1.) there's no play-at-your-pace feeling 2.) Your being timed, and 3.)This game has an allaround very creepy and glitchy performance. Oh, not to mention that you can only save at owl statues throughout the land of Termina. Graphiocs are basically the same, but i noticed they looked blurrier and blockier than Ocarina's. (I played it on Collectors for Gamecube) OK, i have to admit that the game (as usual) has beautiful sound and music. Each effect is realistic, and the music especially sets teh tone. However, i could do without the very creepy, almost deathly music that's in some areas, like the swamps. An overall, great sequel, but it has yet to live up to Ocarina's majesty. You can replay it if you want, but remember that even if you play it twice, you'll get bored unless you give it a rest for awhile. Remember, i played this on Collector's Edition for Gamecube, so graphic/sound/gameplay value will be different, as they transferred both games to GCube format.
