Shrek's Back And So's Another Short Game

In Shrek the Third, you essentially relive the movie in game form, but with a few extras like a battle mode and unlockable characters and costumes.


Shrek the Third is mainly a sort of platformer game. Really. Though it seems like you have complete control of your movement. The camera is usually pointing at your side, against a wall of some kind. Limited camera movement really killed this game. So did the short number of levels. This is why franchise games are so poorly done.
The controls were also a nightmare.


The graphics seem to improve here, but upon further examination, you will find that they are only slightly improved graphics that have been made shiny...and somewhat less pointy.


I guess sound's ok. I don't really notice much of it, except for some background music.


Despite the negativity, it IS a good game. Whe you save up your money from each level, you can buy things in the Main Menu gift shop like aternate costumes (which you turn on and off), playable characters for 2P Mode, different 2P mod arenas, and even commentaries for in-game levels!


This game is still good. But I had some trouble starting it on my Vista computer. After re-installing it maybe 3 times, it worked. Try enting it and see if it's the type of game you could REALLY keep playing for a while. Or rent it for a week (maybe less) just to finish it.
