Fifa 08. The penultimate football game. It has to be said, it's a great game. I recently stopped playing Pro Evo and started on the Fifa series, and I regret nothing.


Gameplay has changed since last year. First of all, there's the trick system. It works well and you can really impress your mates when you meg the keeper. But when you're in a match it's impossible to pull off. Free kicks are hard to take, nobody runs to the ball and through balls end up in the other teams possesion.


Graphics are very good. Stadiums are well designed and everything from the water bottle on the side of the goal is well detailed. The only complaint I have is that only star players have decent face-mapping.


Dissapointing. Whenevever a goal is scored the crowd seem to be quietly whispering to themselves. Don't get me wrong, you can tell the different to a league 2 race course and Wembley, but there's just no enthusiasm.


10/10. Fifa really went to town. Hundreds of teams from around the world wich will keep you busy, most will not be played. But fifa is a soccer game. It will stay on your shelf until Fifa 09 and onwards.


9/10 overall. Gameplay sucks sometimes and difficulties should be corrected. But Fifa have just done it again and made a great soccer game.
