The verdict? Heavenly

Overview

Heavenly Sword is a PS3 exclusive action game that gets its roots to similar games like God of War. The graphisc, voice acting, and atmosphere of the game is great, but the meat of it is the gameplay.

Gameplay

The gameplay consists of attacking enemies with a Heavenly Sword; a sword capable of extending, and retracting. This alters the sword's form, and allows you to attack with three different fighting stances. All in all, the combat is fantastic, with counterattacks, and horsed of enemies to defeat

Graphics

The graphics in this game are very very pretty, and well detailed. The facial animations of the characters is top notch, and the game is overall a piece of eye candy.

Sound

The sound in this game is equally impressive will nice tracks and suitable voice acting to the cool, weird, serious and quirky characters

Value

Over all this is a great game, but the only down side is that it isn't very long at all. It could take about 4 hours to beat the main game. However, with multiple difficulties, and bonuses, it ca still keep you hooked.

Final Thoughts

All in all, Heavenly Sword is a fantastic, and fun game. A game like this doesn't come out every day, so it's good to know that some developers are doing things right. The story is compelling, the characters are unique, the gameplay is streamline....you just can't ask for more from a game. Except, maybe, length
