Reviews Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow Reviews for PSP
Filtering its way to the PSPThe second installment in the portable Syphon Filter series, Logan's Shadow doesn't disappoint the fan who likes stealth action, and has an itchy trigger finger. The gameplay of the game is more or less unchanged fro the last game, which is not a bad thing. You can partake the missions in either a stealthy manner, or guns blazing. The controls, for the PSP, are very tight, and fit the game well. The graphics are great on the PSP, and at times look like a PS2 game. The biggest upgrade from the last game is the lighting effects. The characters look good, the environments are detailed, and there are very nice atmospheric touches. The sound is good, with realistic sounding weapons, and good voice acting. The terrorists you face speak different languages, which is a nice, immersive touch The main campaign is not all that long, but there is an online mode that is very good, and there are bonus missions and unlockables. A great handheld title, this is not a game that disappoints. The action packed sequences are unmatched in other titles on the PSP, and the online mode will keep you coming back for more.
