Fallout 3 Review

Fallout 3 is a 1st/3rd Person shooter set in a world devastated by nuclear war. Alot like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, you take control of a character and wander the radiated wastes.


If you liked Oblivion this is alot like that, but with guns. If you've never played Oblivion, then here's a quick run through. It's an RPG, and you free roam the massive maps at your leisure. You can choose to continue with the main quests or there are many other side-quests you can get on with. They is also a large weapon choice with the ability to create your own with the right blueprints. Overall the map is huge with many places to explore and people to meet.


Everything may seem a bit dull but after all this is post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. That aside, the graphics are pretty average anyway.


Voice acting is alot better this time around, but Fallout doesn't have a noticeable soundtrack. If I could keep comparing it to Oblivion, i'd say it's not as good as Oblivion's soundtrack, but with better acting.


You'll probobly keep playing, creating different characters and completing different side quests. As with alot of RPG's, there's alot of Replay value.


Contender for game of the year, definatly worth getting!
