Room Decoration Ideas Part 2
This is part two of room decoration ideas. I decided to cut the parts in half because the first one was getting really long. (No dirty joke intended) In this I noted the exact furniture items in which I included in my home. If you don't want to read about my exact house then I suggest not reading past this point.
Large central room:
I used this as a living room. My favorite part of this room is the antique oriental rug, partly because I spent 14,500 dollars to have it. I think I looks really cool with the set up but almost any rug will. I recommend the green rug or any of the oriental rugs. I got a lot of the antique radios and guitars so I put them to use in this room. I spent so much money on this room because I ended up buying a hearth. It was so much money but it was worth it. I spent money on a few plants but after that I went cheap and bought two large quality beige couches.
When I was thinking about what to do with this room absolutely nothing popped into my head. The only things I had were a cocktail credenza and a hammock. So it turned the area into a relaxation room. This might seem really stupid but it worked for me. Whenever my people get low on energy I send them to the relaxation room. The first step in having energized people is placing them repeatedly in the hammock. So I placed my hammock in the left corner of the room. In real life alcohol tends to make people relax so I put my cocktail credenza on the right wall. I got two plants to on either side of the credenza. Reading takes almost zero energy so I took three small birch bookcases and placed them next to each other. Obviously for the people to read a book they will need a place to read it so I chose a large quality beige couch.
This room was so blue that it just screamed to be a boys room. I know a lot of people say that you should base your room off of your kids likes and dislikes but that seems like a lot of extra expenses. I made this room almost entirely blue. I wanted the best beds and also the nicest looking ones so I picked the blue double bed and the blue single bed. This might not seem like a ton of sleeping space but it looks cool and most of the time I use the hammock anyway. The room seemed kind of plain with just the beds obviously so I added the flatscreen tv, the MP3 speaker and the telescope. I added a nice blue rug under the beds for absolutely no reason at all. I thought the blue book case and a few stuffed animals would make the room more kid friendly so those were added into the mix.
Ok so I guess I'm going to go into part three soon so stay tuned
