Hints & Secrets

Recruit, Sell and Execute Prisoners

If you defeat an enemy army in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord , you usually have the option to take prisoners. In this guide we explain what it is about and why it can pay off to take prisoners with you.

Prisoners do not have to go to prison. They can be recruited, sold, or executed.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord bustle as far as the eye can see looters, bandits, caravans and armies. Battles are the order of the day. If you have defeated an enemy troop, you often get the option to take prisoners or leave them behind. We will now tell you why it can be useful to take the beaten warriors with you.

Recruit prisoners
Once a battle is won, there are usually dead, wounded and deserters. Of course, the dead cannot simply be resurrected, and those fleeing the flag often reorganize afterwards to form a small group again. However, you can take some wounded with you as prisoners right after the battle.

Strengthen your squad with prisoners
You should take high-ranking prisoners with you in any case. You can strengthen your squad for free. Just keep them for a while without selling them or throwing them out of your party again. As soon as a callsign appears on the "Party" tab , either one of your units can be upgraded or a prisoner can be recruited. You don't have to be afraid of a revolt: Former prisoners in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord are loyal followers as long as you always have enough food with you.

Tip: Before you recruit prisoners, make sure that you still have enough space for them. If there are more warriors in your party than you can accommodate, they could desert.

Sell prisoners
Selling the prisoners can pay off.

In Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord you will find settlements, castles and cities that you can visit. To sell prisoners, only cities are of concern . So go to a city of your choice and click on "Go to the tavern district" . Then you can either choose to sell all prisoners at once by choosing "Ransom your prisoners" or you can choose which prisoners you would like to offer via "Choose the prisoners to be ransomed" . The same applies here: the more experienced the respective unit, the more money you can expect to sell.

Execute prisoners
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord gives you the opportunity to execute prisoners. This option is not available to ordinary prisoners, but to lords and nobles without exception. To do this, go to the party menu, select the prisoner and click on "Execute Prisoner" . The decision to execute should be carefully considered.

Before you do that, however, you should be aware of the consequences : your reputation will suffer greatly and the entire faction that the prisoner has heard of will hate you. After that, peace is difficult to achieve.

The positive effects , however, remain manageable: the lord or noble will not get in your way again. If you extinguish the entire faction through executions, however, all of its possessions can pass to you. Settlements, castles and cities of the faction would immediately belong to you - however, it is still unclear whether this is a bug. After all, the game is currently in the "early access" phase.

Easy Money

If the battle is yours in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord you can earn money with money Go to a city, speak with the regional competition supervisor and discover where the next competition will occur. Each competition includes a number of rounds and in every round in which you participate you can bet money on yourself. You can quickly earn up to 2,000 denarii - supplied you win the thing. Otherwise, all of the cash you have actually bet will be lost.

Competitions are not just beneficial in the very first couple of hours of play to earn a couple of denarii, they also earn popularity and permit you to advance to the next clan level much faster.

Complete missions and earn money
The sandbox role-playing game has lucrative and less lucrative missions for you. You can typically find missions at settlements if you talk to the villagers there, however you can also get missions from nobles. If somebody has a mission for you by the blue callsign next to their profile photo, you can see. The following orders settle:

Escort caravans
Discover and obtain missing people
Tidy bandit hideouts
Smuggling missions
Contribute fort soldiers

Caravans and workshops make a lot of money
You should purchase a workshop or a caravan if you have actually made in between 13,000 and 15,000 denarii. A workshop produces a daily amount of 100 to 400 denarii. Tips on how to dependably make more money with workshops can be discovered in the guide to workshops and creates.

You constantly pay 15,000 denarii for caravans, however you need to employ a party member who will subsequently leave your party. Caravans take a couple of weeks to make a good revenue. In addition, due to their fars away, there is an irreversible danger that they will be assaulted. Earnings of 1,000 denarii are possible every day. You can purchase a caravan from business people within a city. Press the Alt key to track them down. The lettering of their names is displayed in yellow.

Battle and bag important loot
Barely any activity can settle like waging effective battles. The following uses here: the more knowledgeable the army, the more you jump out later on. Beating kings and nobles in battle frequently brings you top quality loot. Every so often items worth over 10,000 denarii can be bagged. Join as a vassal in a faction and then in an army if your character isn't experienced enough to lead a large squad. You seldom go empty-handed with such ventures.

Sell prisoners
Mentioning raids: after every battle there is a high possibility that you can take detainees. Of all, take fully equipped and knowledgeable detainees with you. You can then sell them by going to a pub and earn four-figure denarii (depending upon the number and experience of the detainees).

Earn money by trading
If you are thinking about ending up being a dealer, battles seldom go well for you. To do this, check out a settlement or city and let the mouse hover over an item. This opens a box with info about just how much each item costs here and where you can sell it substantially more costly (" Trade Rumors"). Earnings of 20 to 40 percent are not unusual.

How avoid conspiracy

This belongs to the main story. For sure, at the existing stage the mission looks raw, since the game remains in the early gain access to stage of Steam. In the future whatever can alter. Throughout the game you will typically get messages that the task has actually stopped working, the progress of the target has actually been attained or has actually been reset. The game shows you the conspiracy, that just increases with the time. On the mission page you can see basic info about the conspiracy.

As far as I know, you can not stop a conspiracy in its infancy type. I've attempted to locate and kill Istiana, however she's invulnerable and taking no damage. The only sensible option is just to wait. As the conspiracy continues to intensify, it will ultimately intensify into war. Its size might be various from your social status, your allies, your area, however in my case it will start a war versus the Western, Northern and Southern Empires. At that point, the missions will be active.

You will be bought to either ruin all enemies who have actually stated war, or find each commander and make a truce with him. The latter, sadly, can just be done on the battleground. The option is yours, however to make peace is more affordable and simpler.
