New Game+ mode

Successfully complete the story and defeat the final boss. Once the final boss is defeated, return to Ward 13 and activate the Red Stone. You will then have the option to increase the difficulty and Reroll at this location. Rerolling will reset the world and make it much more difficult. Elite enemies are much more likely to spawn, regular enemies will be more difficult, and Lumenite Crystals will drop more commonly. Lumenite Crystals are special rare items that you can use to craft/upgrade Boss weapons. Boss weapons are special weapons that drop from bosses, and can be acquired by defeating bosses using alternate methods. Lumenite Crystals can also upgrade your Dragon Heart charges. You can get an unlimited number of charges by replaying New Game+ and collecting Simulacrum and Lumenite Crystals.

Hidden SMG and XP bonus trait

To find the secret SMG weapon and Elder Knowledge trait, which gives a bonus to XP earned, find all the hidden areas around Ward 13. This can be done at the start of the game. After your first teleport, a keycard will appear on a nearby table. Grab it to access multiple rooms. Go down to Floor B2, and use the keycard to unlock the door. Grab the Tome Of Knowledge on the table. Go down the hallway. Use the Tape Recorder through the second door to get the Elder Knowledge trait. The Fuse is located through the third door. Go down to Floor B3, and use the fuse on the fusebox. Follow the hall, and unlock the door ahead with the keycard. Go left and reach the red door to find another Tome Of Knowledge. Shut off the fusebox, and return to the central hub room. The large fan will now be off. Jump through the fan and collect the Ward 13 Master Key. Go back to Floor B2, and take a right down the hallway. Proceed until you reach a red room —- take the stairs up to a locked door. Use the Master Key to unlock it and find the SMG inside.

Hidden amulet

Go to the first Sewers dungeon, one of the randomly-generated dungeons on Earth, located before the first boss. At the end of the dungeon, you may find a message written in white paint on one of the walls —- "Only the Penitent Man Shall Pass." This is a reference to the Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade movie. This is the first trial Indiana Jones must face in the Grail Temple at the end of the movie. To solve the trap, simply crouch to make an illusory wall disappear. Crawl under to find the rare "Leto's Amulet" item. Equip it to lower your Armor Encumbrance by 40% and Stamina Cost by 10%.

Secret Void armor

Reach Rhom and explore until you locate the Monolyth building. Check the walls behind the building entrance to find a series of 10 symbols —- there are five different symbols marked in chalk. This will be your solution to the randomly generated Monolyth puzzle. It is recommended to take a picture so you remember the solution. The first 9 symbols marked on the wall each match a direction. The 10th final symbol is the last spot you need to stand on. Enter the Monolyth and look on the stone in the center. This stone will show you which direction each symbol is pointing. Follow the directions and step on all 10 symbols. When the floor panels sink and you get all 10 panels correct, the trap will be disabled and the center stone will lower. Go down below and follow the path to a kiosk where you can purchase the Void armor for 500 (Helmet), 1,250 (Armor), and 750 (Boots). The Void armor is a special heavy armor set that gives you a damage buff every time you take damage. With all three pieces equipped, you will get a +12% damage buff for 13 seconds, and it can stack up to three times.

Weapons and ammunitions guide

Whether you're new to the game and want to have mastery over ammo economy, or you've been playing for a while and just want some more of that "waste-lander" vibe in your game, I'm here to help you do both. Following the SUGGESTIONS below, you should never have any issues with ammunition ever again. And lets be honest folks; while crits and flat damage are cool and all, when the hammer hits the nail the only thing that will end up mattering is how many bullets you can unleash in as short a time as possible.

The Weapons
These weapons can all be obtained from Earth and The Ward; if you miss something (somehow...) then just go to the Ward's Crystal and select Earth Adventure Mode to take another shot at it.

The Chicago Typewriter
This beauty is what originally spurred me to math out this build. With a decent fire-rate, increased accuracy over time and relatively good damage and range, the Chicago Typewriter is the King of your kit and your primary source of damage. Saving it for when an Elite spawns or when you're fighting a Boss is your best option, but you do you chief.

Recommended Modification : Hotshot. Simple, easy to charge, and the burn procs let you melt anything unfortunate enough to be caught anywhere in your FOV. For those of you "too good" for Hotshot, I recommend Song of Swords or other similar effects that buff damage. Hell, throw in Explosive Shot if you're feeling cocky enough.

Where to Find It : A random Earth Dungeon with a massive Fog Wall will plunge you into a challenge called "A Tale of Two Liz's". You need to not only survive the waves of enemies, but also make sure that BOTH of the Liz's make it out of the fight alive. If they do, talking to one of them gives you a key, and said key unlocks a nearby door. Inside that now unlocked room is the Chicago Typewriter.

Submachine Gun
Arguably the fastest firing gun in the game, the Submachine Gun is disgustingly efficient at emptying its magazine. Combined with a tight spread, decent reload, and inconsequential range, this baby will cover your ♥♥♥ five ways to Friday. You can run around like an absolute goon just ripping through enemies, and nothing feels quite as good as watching Seedlings bunch together in a narrow hallway when you've got this little angel at your side.

Recommended Modification : Menders Aura. Once again a simple mod, and easy to obtain. Sometimes, you just need a huge ♥♥♥ pool of health to sit inside of. Maybe an ally is downed, or you're on fire. Maybe you've been surrounded by goons. No matter what the issue is, Menders Aura has your back. Feeling like you don't need it? Slot in your favorite Mod and get to work.
Where to Find It : For the first step, you will have to go to the first spot in the city, the Founder's Hideout and collect the Ward 13 Keycard. Return to the Ward and head to B2. Explore until you discover a Fuse in one of the rooms. Go down to B3 and put the fuse in a wall panel, then turn it on. Unlock the nearby doors with the card and open them. Then turn the power OFF again. Walk through the doors and immediately to your left there will be a huge fan to walk through. Collect the Master Key for Ward 13 and return to B2. Head all the way to the back of B2 and unlock the door at the top of the stairs. Inside, the Submachine Gun rests on a nearby control terminal.

Scrap Sword
A trusty companion, the Scrap Sword comes out fast and can finish battles quickly. It has a decent swinging range too, which is extra helpful. It even out-damages the Hero Sword, but if you'd rather use a different Melee weapon, go for it. Do what makes you comfortable.

Where to Find It : If you didn't get this one as part of your starting equipment, you should be able to buy it from Rigs for 450 Scrap.

The Armor

The Bandit Armor Set
This armor set has the Post-Apocalyptic Mad Max vibes that you need, but if looks aren't good enough for you then keep reading. The Set Bonus you get for wearing parts of it is called Freeloader, and at 3 stacks the effect is a 35% chance to refund any spent ammunition when it hits an enemy, and a 25% increase in all ammunition pickups. With the Submachine Gun and Chicago Typewriter, this effectively doubles your magazine size and lets you fire a stream of hot lead for a ridiculously long time. Picking up an ammo drop essentially refills half of your total ammunition. And the entire set is listed as "Light" with a weight of 17, making it one of the best dodging sets in the game. It should be mentioned that without the set bonus, this build really doesn't work; it really is just that good of a passive.

Where to Find It : While playing on Earth, you may come across a World Stone with a crashed Helicopter held up with roots. Inside is Mud Tooth, a kooky but kind old man who has stories to tell. Listen to all of his stories and you'll receive a Pocket Watch as thanks. You then need to get a random dungeon full of Human Bandits; at the end of it will be a Fog Wall that reveals a large group of bandits led by a man named Brabus. Trading him the Pocket Watch rewards you with the Bandit Armor Set. You only get this option if the person speaking to Brabus has a Pocket Watch.

Gunslinger's Charm
This Amulet is a common Earth Spawnable, and is often found in your first few runs of the game. It increases reload speeds by 20% and fire rate by 15%. This is incredibly helpful, seeing as pumping out lead is how you plan on dealing damage.

Gunslinger's Ring
This ring is a bit harder to find but is another Earth Spawnable, found randomly in almost any Earth location. It increases weapon swap by 50% and fire rate by 5%. For some people this isn't worth it, and I get that, but the fire rate helps and being able to have your weapons ready at near instantaneous speeds is so handy.

Stockpile Circlet
This ring took me forever to find, but it was worth the pain of searching. You can find it on Earth, and it seems to spawn, at least for me, in the tunnels leading up to The Depot where Brabus hangs out. When equipped it increases your maximum ammo totals by 50%. My Chicago Typewriter carries 80 bullets in a mag and 400 bullets in reserve; the Submachine Gun has a magazine of 35 and 332 bullets in reserve. For anyone doing the math there, that's just over 900 total bullets after refilling at a checkpoint. Most builds pride themselves on having anywhere near 200 total bullets, but we laugh at those people.

Why choose this Build over others?
Well, to be completely honest there's no real reason to take this build over anything else that has been math'd out for damage; those truly are the most efficient builds since you're usually killing things in nearly one shot and ripping the HP out of boss health bars.

But you see, I didn't make this build for the most damage, or for how great its defenses are. No, I made this build for those of you out there who feel the same way I do; that when you're spewing fountains of lead at an enemy and doing well because of it, you're truly living the life. I simply cannot explain to you how satisfying it is to just hold down the trigger and watch your enemies ragdoll beneath a storm of bullets, or popping Hotshot and ruining a Boss's life, or even the bonding you get with complete strangers when you pop a Mender's Aura just so they don't have to waste a Dragonheart. The dumbstruck, stand-still player models when you're able to run in, despite a lack of any protections, and clear an entire zone solo simply because you had the most bullets. Getting kicked from a lobby because "no gun has that many bullets, you're hacking."

So if you're not prepared to step out of your bunker, breathe in the Root-pocalypse, and show the worlds why we love our Second Ammendment, then that's fine. Go search up an OP one shot insta-kill build. But for those of you who know what I'm talking about, who feel what I feel, then welcome home chief; the bullet casings are fresh out of the oven.

Easy "Hard Bargain" Achievement or Trophy Guide

Quickest Way is to create a Adventure Mode run for Reisum

In the Zone you start in there will be these big elite Yeti mobs. If the Dungeon with Sebum has spawned, then they will 100% drop a Packmasters Tusk. To get one to spawn you might have to do a dungeon to open the shortcut. If you kill a big elite Yeti mob and it doesn't drop Packmasters Tusk. Quit and remake the Adventure Mode.

Once you're at The Frieran Sea instead of going into the boat to talk to Sebum (two headed fat rat) Go to the left you might have to break some barrels to crounch under some debris. Just after that to the right hand side you should see some platforms.

Important

Climb up and you will see a hole with an Interact option. If you don't view the armor the dialog option won't pop up.

After you've spoken to Sebum a little and have the Packmasters Tusk

You'll have two options

Pick
''I have the Tusk, what about that armor below deck?''
He Hmmms and just continue with
''This Tusk, for that armor. {GIVE TUSK}''

Sebum will then say you drive a ''Hard Bargain''
You can then go inside and get the Warlords armor set
