I was wondering if basset hounds were good at the did competition as I wanted to get one and male or female and what temperant if not basset hounds then what breeds recommended

It doesn't matter if the breed is good at disc comps. But i heard that big dogs are good at disc comps and small-medium dogs are good at lure coursing. But example, if you get a Yorkie, which is small, it may not do well in disc comps but you can always train your Yorkie to do better. So even if Bassets are bad at disc you can always train him. Hope this helps. :-)

This did help! I started with a German shepherd as they are big ,cute ,loveable ,adorable ,easy to train , smart etc, etc, I raised money and got a cat then I got a golden retriever and both my dogs are champs at the disc competition!!!

My male Basset Hound George is excellent! He wins a lot of the time! He can even beat La ska the pincher (my in-game rival because she's so darn good at it) So over all my Basset Hound is excellent ( WARNING : Basset Hounds aren't as good at the start but they rock at the end)
