Question & Answers

DQVC update not working

Has Nintendo officially (or unofficially) stopped supporting Dragon Quest 9's DQVC? I've seen several posts regarding this issue from other players having the same exact issue. One response that was given to someone is that it was possible that their DQVC was no longer working because they had tried to access it on 2 different DS models for the same game. When I sent in a request to tech support, their response to me was they weren't sure, but it could have to do with some kind of timing problem. Really? I checked with one of my friends, and her game pulls up the same 6 item shopping screen after she has 'updated' according to the game, which is the same problem we are all experiencing. If Nintendo doesn't intend to continue supporting the game with it's updates, then do us all a favor and come out and say that you aren't. If you do intend to continue support for your loyal patrons, then by all means, actually look into the problem and fix it or at least give us an ETA of when it will be fixed. Responses from Support that are non-sensical and show a lack of understanding for the gameplay do little to garner our continued trust. Please just give us a REAL, EDUCATED response to the problem we are experiencing. Thank you for your time and assistance.
