How making a submarine

Is it possible to make a submarine? If so how? And can someone give me a link to make one or just write it. Are torpedoes the only weapon you can use on a submarine btw?

It is really hard to master. But I got a few steps. #1 make a body that is heavy but not too much. And also add atleast 2-4 balancers on the sides. #2 set a boiler(can be any kind depending on the weight) and make sure the body is still balanced. #3 put alot of screws under the body(it has to face down). #4 put some facing front and a rudder. Lasty #5 test run it(if it is still submerging and merging back, then add more boilers).

I've built several submarines and only now i'm getting the hang of it. The easiest way(i found):

buy the 400MM armored skelton, add a angled boiler, and put about 8 screws facing upward in pairs along the bottom of the hull. If you space them nicely you just have to move the throttle to max and you'll start diving. If you balance the ship nicely you will go down nice and horizontally. Put some big guns on your ship and dive only to pop up right behind the enemy ;)

Don't go to deep or you'll sink though. adding extra layers of 600mm heavy weight armour on top of your ship will help getting underwater faster but beware that your sub is still nicely balanced, Otherwise you'll tip over when emerging from the water.

i even managed to built one that i can control in depth. Full throttle= diving, 50% throttle=stay at current depth. <50% throttle=ascent.

My first try I've mastered it all I did was design a tube type design with one up facing propeller and one propeller on the back and it dives sorta slanted but moves at about 12 knots and stays bellow steady. It is possible just stay at it!

Like one said, use propellers to force the sub under. I used 8 props 4 on each side. Then 2 in the back, 8 small boilers and 1 medium. This creates a sub that goes about 23.5 knots. It works pretty well thing is if your gonna build a sub you need to buy underwater torps so you don't have to surface to engage.

@vim: I do everything u said n it work but just the part when the water get to the boiler and the boiler stop working so the ship just pop right up I try covering the boiler but then the ship just won't submerge. Any tip on how to fix this problem

Omg have the perfect way!! Get free design
Put 600mm armor 10 spaces FORWARD stacked(10x2)
Put nine space over (right/left)
Put large hull on edges(connected)
Put more 600mm armor(same as bottom)
Add guns(any)
Put a large boiler
Propellers on bottom(facing down)
Propellers on back(facing back)

Not really a sub, but it sinks and almost flies :p
When enemy shoots, pull throttle DOWN
When going forward/sideways, throttle up

Do not forget: add large rudder

I made one, and it could go all the way under water, my only problem is controlling the depth: at full throtle diving, 90% throttle diving and any less than tht and it would pop out of the water

The only solution for your submarine that that as sends and descends it should not have to much of power other wise it will go Down to fast and tople over, I once did make submarine like that but discontinued it as It was giving to much trouble, it is better to make a sub that will stay under water. :|

A great way to make a sub is to #1:buy any small hull #2:delete all of the top deck EXCEPT the edges. Then you delete the middle and ONLY fill the middle with heavy balast. #3: put the top layer back on and put a boiler(that is good for the size of the sub) on. Dont froget to cover it up. Use a light material. #4: put propellers facing UP on the bottom. Don't put to much of them on or the boat will stall just before the boat goes under. #5: Add guns and torpedoes but make sure the sub doesnt flip because of the extra weight. Once you prefect the sub the controls are foreword to dive and backward to surface.

I have a sub that works really well, #1 buy a basic skelton ship $0 #2 strip all the deck off the top #3 mirror the bottom onto the top #4 make a hole in the middle and place 2 medium boilers in it #5 place propellers on the bottom facing up (the shaft goes down) i found 6 works well #6 place propellers on the back #7 balance it and weight it so it sinks. Mine Climbs at %100 throttle and descends at %50 i have beat all battles with it (Aircraft Carrier Lv2 is easy)

I made a sub that is 32knots top speed when surfacing, 27knots leveled. 4 Underwater torps, 2 props, 2 large aircraft carrier engines. No propellers used to pull ship up or down. 3 Layer ship, 155m long. Base layer ballasts ballast 100m long, mid section 25m length of heavy ballast. (engine section) 2nd layer 600mm armour 145m long, round out edges with 400mm armour blocks 1/6 block etcs. Mind you the 2nd layer mid section (at the position of the engine section) 2 blocks out. I have a ring of 400mm armour in this mid section. Covering this mid section, with 600mm armour. Propellers to move ship forward (2) in the base section of ship, add some side half ballast blocks to reduce drag on the sides of propellers. Add rudders...done.

What i o is that i click free design and make a long circle like tube. (has to be hollow) then you buy 2 medium boilers and place inside the tube then cover t up and add some propellers and a larger rudder and you have a working sub!!

I cannot say any better on designing from scratch, but i can help with stabilising problem and increasing the subs speed, i have a soryuu and i can say the speed and stbilising can do better. for speed i use 4 aircraft carrier engine set on the space at the back and a gas turbine set in the middle. then i add 4 extra proppeler so when you see from the back it looks like this

this allows me to get up to 59.2 knots

for stability i put 3 propeler facing downward and 2 upward on the front of the sub, this make the sub to be diving at slower rate, but fast enough youll be deep enough to be save on combat also this makes the sub to stay at a level(almost when moving at 80-90% which is 51 knots

For all guys who want a sub that is easy to control and dives fast: I present you DiveDeep, a sub that merges and submerges fast, goes up to 45 knots and has some other interesting stuff: You need a bottom made of heavy balance, that is not too long, so it is easier too dive in a balanced way. Then you need to build the body over this ballast( there are no restrictions, all you need to respect is that the sub is balanced to the sides, so it doesn't make a barrel roll ;) and that the density is always 1.0). afterwards you place boilers inside (I used 4large aircraft boilers) .

Then you add one or two props at the end of your sub so you got speed. Remember to test the Stability of ur sub and balance it if nessescary. Then if everything of ur sub is finished u have to add one 1/2 Hull at the front and in the back of ur sub like this: if you look at your sub in that way that the props are on the left side you have to place the 1/2 Hull like that: \ . This has to be done on the left and the right side. This forces the sub to submerge, as you speed up. If the sub submerges not in a balanced way you just got to add 1/2 hull like this: \ on the side that does not submerge as fast as the other side does. And if your ship sinks too fast , you just have to regulate the speed, so it rises again. You can add me in game center, if you want, then i will show you my sub and how it works, just write that you want to see it and bettle me with an unarmed ship that is not too fast. I will put my sub on a platform so the torpedotubes wont work

Depends, two types exist, most people use a "pusher": a sub usinh props to literally push down the sub, these are slow, often slower than 20knots. type number 2 is the diver, a sub with a hull spacifically shaped to let it sink at certain speeds. my sub goes 48 knots and turns well, all due to the diver concept, to build a simmilar sub, make a line of 400 mm normal armor, and attach 2 larce aircraft boilers, now encircle the boilers in 400mm norm armor. ( not lightweight. next make a bevled edge and prop guides, add a bottom and top and wiecht it with 600 mm armor untioo dunstiy is 1 next test and proceed to balance and add weapons to the sub.
