Question & Answers

Is my ship good?

My ship, Becuz merica, has 11 boilers, 2 40 cm doubles, 8 30.5 cm, 2 triple torpedoes, 2 underwater torpedoes, a 36 quad, a 38 double, oxygen torpedo launcher, 2 vulcans, a bunch of 20 cms, and other smaller guns. It goes about 68.4 knots. Can anyone tell me how to make it faster? (Yes I did cover the props and weight the back). I have been working on this for a while, it can kill lvl 10 ships at lvl 6 but doesn't get the full cash amnt, I get damaged too much. Can I make it faster and are there any guns I should get or replace?

Replace hull with lightweight amour and try deleting the 1/2 hull and the 1/6 hull its a glitch that if it's not water-dynamic (i made that up its like aerodynamic but in water) it will go faster and use 1/6 hulls to make a half dimand and that actually helps instead of a edge cutting hull but be careful some things will help in speed

Dont add to much props. I had about 12 on my submarine before (10 to submerge, 2 to go forward) and when i deleted 6 props it went faster. oh and, someone, the word is hydro-dynamic.

Use a few big boilers. My VIP has only 4 angled boilers but does 150 knots. Use fewer propellers. You need to play with the covering of the propellers. Some combinations work better. Remove any half blocks that look cool and are there for hydrodynamics. For some reason without them your ship will be faster.

Mine has only 1 boiler but goes 85+ knots. Don't have too many 30.5 cm guns, they are heavy and firepower isn't very good for its weight. Smaller guns don't work well when you have much bigger ones like 40 and 46 cm guns. Add a 46cm for the extra max range. If you are damaged too much, add lightweight armor, preferably 200mm on top. Ballast can also be replaced with armor. It is also advised that no more than 3 propellers be placed. My ship only has 2. Lastly, don't put that many torpedoes. Oxygen torpedoes are enough. I stay away from torpedoes completely though, as they are not accurate and travel at 50-70 knots only. They also don't do much damage to big armored ships.
