1. Save the bonus LCP's you are given from the login promo they constantly have, or earned from events.
2. Find someone offering to trade the same card with a higher skill for a fair amount of PP/ED.
3. EX skilled commons then skill them up with regular skilled commons before feeding your UR.
4. YGD's, BGD's, Junk UR's ~

Increasing skill level is not a cheap process. If you hope to get higher levels like 10 then you will have no choice but to use higher level skilled cards. The game is made this way to encourage you to spend money. Most important however is the card whose skill you want to activate the most must be the first card on your line (top of list when choosing). This card gets priority for skill activation although depending on its level this may vary. Try it out in battle & see for yourself. Proud member of Perfected Soap & graduate of flawed.

Strategy for enhancing card skill levels.
1. The more times you can enhance the card the more chances you have of increasing the skill, therefore enhancing during "bonus" time whe you have 1.5 times chance of level up is not a good idea. This increases the level of the card quickly but reduces the # of times you will have a chance to skill up the card
2. As the skill level increases on your cards you will need to keep ussing increasingly more rare cards to skill up. Example to enhance a card from skill 1 to 2 you can get 100% chance by ussing 10 common ex cards that all have skills. However to get from skill 2 to 3 those same cards will only give you a 35% chance.

3. Choose the cards you want to skill up carefully. In the begining of the game you may try and skill up a lot but waste you efforts on cards the have low skill value simply because you have not seen what other cards are out there. Generally card that have "Large" skill are worth enhancing, typically level 13 & up UR cards will increase in skill power when you evolve them. Example Fortuna, a level 16 card has the skill of "Large increase to all atttack types". When you evolve her this increases to "Great increase to all attack types" Generally Large=10%up, great=20%up Huge=30%
4. Try diferent card combinations when skilling up to maximize eficiency & reduce cost. Keep rare cards in gift just for enhancing, evolving them will increase there efectiveness at skill inceasing & for higher levesl of skill UR's are needed, even UR ex's. Genius baby dragon are invaluable since they really help you skill up. You can choose a combination & check its effectiveness & if the level is bellow 50% you should return & change the cards to get better percentage of sucesss.
5. Dont get frustrated, even 95% chance of skill up has failed for me, ouch! If you really want that skill, like lets say on a Rabbit EX(pwr 17) card you might want to consider having someone do it for you, this will cost PP/EP but they will guarantee what ever skill level you want the card to have. Check the message board but only use someone that comes highly recomended by other players, I have.
6. Build up an inventory of cards for skilling in your "Present" list from event & so forth so that you can use them at your convenience
Good Luck,

Just to add in. You can still raise the skill level of a card after maxing it out. Just keep enhancing using the info others have provided. Have fun.
