Apparently you need to expand to the tree-lady to the north first and then you can build the potion shop. This is just what I've seen on other sites, i havent gotten this far yet :/

You gotta expand your kingdom to that tree girl, then she gives you a quest to make it

This seems confusing because it gives you a quest to build a market early on and you can't build that until you craft glue which you can't until you build a potion shop!

Tree lady = potion shop

In agreement with 'sweet reasons' except that it's more irritating than confusing. So right now, the phantom Market is just taking up space until we can expand to the tree girl. Nice!

My version of castle story must be bugged. I expanded to the tree lady but I was never given a quest. I keep moving the tree lady around in hopes something will happen....

I agree with tree lady answers, it is logical, while I work my toward her I am just banking resources and gold. One of the things I noticed in future construction is water is a biggy, stone and logs will continue to play, and coal is a big one, for making the lanterns. Unfortunately they overlooked some of the mission sequences hence the market placement, but with the right patience and planning you can be ready for your next move

I have reached the expansion to the tree lady, no quest was given, just said to break her spell was in the potion shop. I bought potion shop and have all except simple glue..where in the world is simple glue? I have every flower gathering points and Petels and moved tree lady around and still nothing..this is frustrating so I starting searching for answers on forums..please help me find simple glue..

Once you have expanded you should have a conversation with old Thomas then go talk to her. I have built old Thomas' library and am trying to build his house. The house require glue also. I have already made the telescope and completed both the first and second caravan. I don't know if that has any relevance or not. I have crafted the 4 wisp lanterns required to actually be able to expand into that area. I did not expand into that area until after I had built old Thomas his library and started building his house. After you build the potion shop you have to free ivy from the tree spell by crafting a potion. The potion requires that you have certain ingredients most of which you should have if you have already built the mine and killed several Skunkupines. I breezed right through starting the potion to free Ivy because I had collected everything I needed to free Ivy before I got there. Now I did buy a couple of the large rock formations and mine them myself to get all the materials I needed for the telescope. I hope this helps some. Good Luck

I wanted the glue, so bought for 99 cents enough gems to buy the glue. It was a free game, and for the fun I've had playing it, I thought I would support the makers. I've spent 99 cents on stupid games I hated so I would spend the same amount for one I really like. I have to set a budget on how much I am willing to spend on this game though, as you cannot simply buy everything you would like to have in your kingdom. But glue? Yeah, I bought it.

I've expanded to the tree girl and she says to build the potion shop. But the potion shop is locked by "goal". I'm trying to build a market and that takes simple glue. Glue only comes from a potion shop, so right now I'm doing nothing but saving up materials and making Wisp Lanterns. I think this might be a glitch or something because I have other quests but most of them I can't do because of the SIMPLE GLUE.
