Sparkly floaty things above mystery seeds?

Anyone notice the sparkly floaty things above the mystery seeds when they are growing? It seems to only happen on the ones that will turn into a rare plant. Just wondering if I'm seeing things!

Nope. You are wright. Only mystery seeds that have bubles floating around them grow into rare plants. But if you grow more than one mystery seed at a time, it might show bubles at first, but it will go away if you get another seed with bubles (both of them will grow into rare plants)

That's how you can tell if they are rare or not. If you don't see the sparkle. They wont turn into rare pants. :)

Can you elaborate on this? I have been on the same task for 5 levels. Not level 16 or 17. I need to grow 1 rare plane from a mystery seed. I have planned with no exaggeration at least 25 seeds and still have not completed this task. So do the bubbles form immediately, or is this something that appears at a later stage? Example. 1 of 3 ... 2 of 3 .... 3 of 3.. done. When do we see this?

If its going to be a mystery seed, I see the bubbles within a few seconds of paying the first round of algae (1 of 3). They are not continuous...there are 4-5 bubbles every 5 to 20 seconds. These bubbles really look like white, sparkly, floaty things above the plant.

Is there any way to encourage the bubbles / white, sparkly, floaty things? i.e. is it better to plant the mystery seeds next to certain other plants / corals / out in the open etc.

If u move a sparkly plant, do u lose the chance for it to become a rare plant or will it stay the same? I have like 4 or 5 sparkly mystery seeds out of like 37 an I tried separating the sparkly ones from the normal ones but my sparkles didn't move with the plant? They r still in the same spot?

Chris, there's not a way to encourage it that I've found. It doesn't seem to matter where you plant them (even in the purple areas). I've planted 32 mystery seeds for this quest I'm on and have so far gotten 6 rare plants. The ratio varies, but it appears that it takes 5-7 mystery seeds to produce a rare plant. Still is a better value to me than the enigmatic seeds (38,700 coins for mystery seeds to get 6 rare plants versus 60,000 coins for enigmatic seeds). Lacey, it will still be a rare plant. Just refresh your game and the sparkly things will be back over the plant.

Hi Lacey, I believe if you move them, you loose them. You need to let them grow to maturity then you can move them as you wish.

So will only one sparkle at a time or can several sparkle? Because I have 11 planted and only one sparkling. I'm wondering if it's worth spending the algae on all our them or should I just cultivate the sparkly one and dig up the rest.
