How to put corals in a patch?
The update arrived and there is the patch that somehow you should be able to put 4 plants in it. How do you do that? I have tried buying them and placing in the patch. I have tried moving current ones in the patch. And I have tried just clicking on the patch to see if that helped but it didn't. Not sure how to use this. Any one else know?

I'm stuck on the same thing. I've tried to plant new coral on it and move existing coral onto it but it just doesn't work - help!
Answer from: FluteLlama2
The only thing I got to work for me was that it first wanted to have you use the patch as an assigned task.twice. I forget the plants it wanted.Sunset Cup? And something else. Sorry, I forgot. Anyway, do your tasks & then it should allow you to build the patches of your choosing.
Be aware that the cost of buying a patch goes up w/each patch purchase. Also, it only allows you to do so many before it pops up saying you can't get anymore until Vitality increases. I had 2 sets of 4 plants ready to patch, but I have to wait. So, I spent all my algae on Ornamentals.silly me. I don't recommend it.rather I suggest Patience as a Virtue.

You can only make a patch of the same coral. Click move and drag your coral directly on top of the patch.

You have to finish that quest first. example first it says plant 4 fan coral then in the same quest its place a patch. Once you finish it will show you how to move the to the patch. good luck!
Answer from: Pbuckley
It would only let me put one Sunset Cup Coral in the patch and then wouldn't allow me to place any more. I ended up selling the patch, buying a new one and then just moved Sunset Cups I already had into the patch and it worked fine.

Its telling me to make a sunset patch. I have grown 4 sunset cup corals. now what
Answer from: SammysReef438
Tap on MENU then MOVE. Then move the Sunset cups one at a time by tapping on then and then moving them onto the patch. Once you have the Sunset Cup lined up exactly on the patch, tap the green check mark, which plants the sunset cup in the patch. Repeat for the remaining three cups. You can follow this proceedure for any coral or plant, provided that you are patching four identical items. I have made several patches of fan coral, sunset cup coral, and fruit loop coral. Feel free to visit. All my patches are in the far right edge of my reef , at the top. I also have many cats paw coral and other high yield reward coral and plants. SammysReef438. Good luck!

All u have to do is put down the plant and have four plants that r fully grown and place them directly above the patch. Honestly i dont think theres any reason to plant the patch. Its a waste of sand dollars caise you're getting the same amount of coral

Plant and grow 4 fan corals and when they are fully grown move and place them in the patch it will work :)

I am having the same issue. I'm at the stage where I was asked to place 4 fan coral in the patch but I can't seem to move any plants into my patch. I have tried moving existing fan coral, planting new fan coral in the patch, beside the patch and then moving it, etc. It won't allow me to do anything. When I click "move" I also have no ability to "sell" the patch so now I appear to be stuck with a patch that does nothing. Glad to see that I'm not the only one but I'd like to know how to remedy the situation. Hoping for any other suggestions!

Few Facts on Patch:
1. Patch appear In " Nursery - > Specials " only when vitality reaches the certain mark.
2. Patch is a special place, on which you can put "move" 4 same type of corals on it .
3. Advantage is all the 4 corals will merge into similar looking "one coral" - and will produce 4 times production.
4. The use of patch is saving space and saving clicks.
5. Use 4 high yielding same kind of corals for placing on a patch. So you get the 4 times algae at one time.

You need to follow instructions. Purchase 4 fan corals grow them then move the months patch. Then do same with sunset cups. Patches in nemos reef change vitality and San dollar values so fast at level 42 im unable to use them.

Once you plant your patch and Grow 4 Fan Corals it says....... Patch Power By placing 4 Fan Corals on the Patch, an new, upgraded Fan Coral will grow- producing the same amount of algae as the 4 corals would, in the same time. Now it will tell you to click on the menu button and move your fan coral on the patch.:)
Answer from: I?this game
When the "patch" was first available there was a quest that specifically stated to plant a patch and four fan corals. Plant the patch and grow your 4 fan coral. Once they are all fully grown the game will instruct you to pull the four fan corals into the patch. Ultimately it makes a super fan coral.
Answer from: Ginger
1. Buy four (4) fan corals at nursery (not recently or before this quest ones)
2. Grow all four fan corals
3. Next it should tell you to go to menu tjen move then place all four fan corals or whatever right on top ofthe patch
4. hope this helps Good Luck
Answer from: Help!
I can't put the fan corals in the patch. No matter what I do, the coral remains red and says that I can't place the plant there, even though the coral is exactly over the patch. I don't understand what I'm missing.
Answer from: Blehtreeduck287
I just when on and you put a patch down ( as it should tell you ) and then you first do 4 fan coral on top. That should complete a mission as well. Up side: you get a cooler more upgraded plant. Since there are four on the patch, the upgraded one now does that algae x4 in the same time of those original 4 plants. Now, you can do what ever 4 plants you want and upgrade. Have fun, but remember; you can only do so many patches before you have to go get more land.

I grew 4 fan corals around the patch. When they were all the way done it told me to put them In the patch. It worked.
Answer from: Natto
You have to grow the 4 coral or living plants in the same time, then the game will tell you to put them in to the patch. :)
Answer from: Fiona8910
Place and grow at least 4 of any coral. Next, go to menu and press the move button. Last, you place all 4 corals directly over the patch. Have fun!
Answer from: Irene
The first time you create a patch you grow 4 brand new fan coral. It will not let you move exsisting ones. Once you grow 4 new fan corals you can move over the patch to place them inside. After your first patch is created you can move the fan coral without growing them each time. The fan coral is what the patch type is to begin with. I have 3 and so far they are just fan coral.
