Question & Answers

Is there a point of diminishing returns on # of allies

I tried getting my alliance numbers up, tried paying the 10 gold bars for the VIP status on Friday, got lots of returns went from 20 allies to about 110. Boosted my attack and defense numbers to 1000 and 1200. Did okay for a few hours, but attracted a lot of unwanted attention over the last 2 days and when I was offline I really got hammered now I am down to 231 attack and 282 defense, level 32 which is lower than when I started. Now I dont have enough units to take advantage of the allies. Should I trim down my number of allies to bemore in line with my current strength?

Basically, you want to have stronger units filling the spots in your useable alliance numbers. If you only have week units, you're going to get hammered every time by a player who may have less useable units because of a lower number of alliance numbers, yet they have much stronger units. I suggest cutting some of your alliance so that you can build up a stockpile of the strongest units you can afford. As your stronger units numbers outgrow your total useable alliance numbers, then add more alliances to your army.

Yup, basically u jumped the gun a little there mate. Allies of 110 and attack/defence only 1000/1200???? people with only 20-30 allies get that! don't forget, your allies 110 will put u around other players of similiar allie numbers and they are probably aorund the 4000/5000 mark!!! either boost up units or trim down allies until your units are strong enough to expand allies

Of corse the real answer is to stop paying your bills and eating and then buy gold with your money and use the gold to buy units. The units you but with gold(in reality real money) are far stronger than anything you can get paying only with game money and they are indestructible! $400-$500 should give you a nice start
