Answer from: Bryan
Q: How do you get to the dungeon?

A: Firstly, the pendants are used as a symbol to prove Link's merit to obtain the Master's Sword. Once you reach the Dark World, you are now looking for the daughters of the Wise Men in the Crystals.

Secondly, you must acquire an item called a Flute from the weather-vane in Kakariko Village before you can enter into the Swamps of Evil.

You will need to head into the forest clearing south-east of the Village of Outcasts and move to the tree stump towards the center of the clearing; you will see a person sitting down on it. Speak to him and he will grant you his shovel, requesting you to find his Flute that he once played when he was in the Light World.

Dig around the flowers and patches of grass around this area. Personally, I found mine in the Light World near the top-left area. Once you find it, Link will hold it high and explain a bit of it using the standard dialog box. Return to the Dark World and speak to him at the tree stump. He will tell you to speak to his father in the tavern in Kakariko Village.

Return to Kakariko Village and speak to the man snoozing / asleep at the entrance (on the rug). He will request you to play the Flute's melody at the weather-vane for tradition's sake. Do it.

Once you play the melody, you will see a duck break out of the weather-vane and fly away. If you play the Flute again outside, you will be transported to a location of choice on the map, denoted by the number within the circle that is flashing on the map. You will want to transport (fly) to the desert on the south-west corner of the map.

Lift the stones and you will see a portal. Enter it. You will have arrived in the Swamp of Evil.

Good luck!
